![]() ![]() a character is pressured and forced into drinking alcohol against their will. alcohol abuse: alcohol is abused by of age and underage characters as a source of coping. but they can be a terrifying idea for some people to read that drugs like that could exist. addition: the drugs the character is mandated to be on do not actually exist. in summary, i have put this trigger warning more as a caution for people to not judge medication for mental illness based off the character’s experiences with medication. though no specific medications are mentioned and details aren’t given, it is a misrepresentation of medication and the help it can actually provide people on some level. drug misrepresentation: there is a character who is on some type of anti-psychotic medication, as mentioned above. a character is also court mandated to take drugs. other characters participate in doing drugs. drug abuse: a character is drugged against their will. i say this in terms of leveling the extremes of assault throughout the book. when i say “mild assault” it is not because i am writing this off as an okay thing to do. mild (sexual) assault: a character kisses another character while that character is drugged up. the scene is short and she is okay post interaction. violence (male to female): wanted to note there is a specific scene where a male character holds down a female character and strangles her. if you cannot handle any violence at all, this is not the series for you. violence: this is an overall theme in the series. violence (guns, knives, fists, cigarette lighters, etc) counselors/courts prescribing medication Also, if I missed anything, please let me know!
